OVERVIEW

The Accelera Omikron H/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction and road gripping ability. The silica-based tire compound works together with the wider tire footprint, that maintains road contact at all times, to increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tire's superb contact with the road boosts its controllability in all weather, while the four wide circumferential grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by increasing the water and slush dispersing ability.

The model's handling is ensured by the tread design. The three semi ribs with the interlocked tread blocks keep the tire close to the road surface. This better road contact enhances the tire's driving stability. The model is fortified against the driving pressure affecting it and its handling becomes sharper and more accurate as a result as well. The shoulder tread block design increases the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. They provide additional biting edges, in all weather, that grip the road surface firmly during such situations, guaranteeing the driving safety.

The Omikron H/T's tread design features three semi ribs with the interlocked tread blocks maintaining road contact at all times. The better road contact allows the tire to closely follow the road surface. This lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin at all times and improves the driving comfort levels. The constant road contact of the wide footprint also increases the tire's longevity. The symmetric tread design evenly circulates the driving pressure out across the tread area. The equal distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area, which increases the tire's tread life and usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
